1. Data controller
eLand, Lda is responsible for data collected through this website's form. Its identification and contact details are provided below.
2. Data collected
The form collects your name, email, company (optional) and message. The system also records an enquiry identifier, submission date, language, and the date and version of the documents you acknowledged reading. Avoid including sensitive data or unnecessary information about other people.
The hosting infrastructure may process technical connection data, such as your IP address and browser information, to deliver the website, secure access and prevent abuse. The application does not add this data to the form record.
3. Purposes and legal basis
Data is used to respond and take steps relating to a possible acquisition at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For enquiries made on behalf of a company, managing the professional relationship is based on the legitimate interest in responding to and negotiating with that entity (Article 6(1)(f)).
Protection against abusive requests and evidence of the information provided are based on legitimate interests in security and contact management. Enquiries are not used for newsletters, advertising or automated decisions with legal effects. The required checkbox confirms that the documents have been read; it is not consent to marketing.
4. Recipients and hosting
Enquiries are accessible to people authorised by eLand, Lda to manage the acquisition. The website and form enquiries are hosted on Netlify, with enquiry storage configured in the Frankfurt region. A notification containing the enquiry details is sent to buy@media.pt through the mail server used by eLand, Lda, separately from the website. Providers may process data needed to provide and secure their services. Data may also be disclosed to authorities where legally required.
International providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Applicable conditions and safeguards depend on the contracted service and may be requested using the privacy contact on this page. Links to the providers' policies appear below; they do not replace this information about the form.
5. Retention
Enquiries are retained for as long as necessary to assess and conclude the request or related negotiations. Retention needs are assessed according to the status of the contact, any negotiation or contract, legal obligations, or specific needs to establish, exercise or defend rights. Data should be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.
Your cookie manager preference is valid for 180 days. It is stored in your browser and, when you return after that period, it is removed and a new choice is requested. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings.
6. Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and, where applicable, portability using the privacy contact below. Proportionate information may be needed to confirm your identity. Requests are answered within GDPR time limits, normally one month.
You may complain to Portugal's data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt. If any future processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
7. Cookies and local storage
The application does not integrate analytics, advertising or external content tools. Images and video are hosted by the site itself. The manager stores only the “necessary only” preference in your browser's local storage under media-pt-cookie-preferences with a validity of 180 days. It does not create an advertising identifier or send this choice to a marketing platform.
The hosting service may use its own security mechanisms. “Manage cookies” reopens the Media.pt panel. If optional technologies are introduced, the information and controls will be updated before they are activated.
8. Required information and updates
Your name, email, message and reading acknowledgement are required to submit the form; company details are optional. You may use the contact email instead. Without the required information, an enquiry cannot be recorded through the form.
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website or data processing. The applicable version is shown on this page and recorded with each new enquiry.
